Terms & Conditions
1. This competition will be governed by these terms and conditions and entrants agree that they have read and understood these terms and conditions and will be bound by them.
2. Entrants may enter the competition by subscribing to receive email marketing communications from Republic (Retail) Ltd.
3. You must subscribe and remain subscribed until the draw has taken place to receive email marketing communications in order to be eligible.
4. Costs to enter the competition via the Internet may vary so please check with your network operator for current charges. Entrants should seek the permission of the person paying the bill before entering.
5. One winner will be drawn from the total of all new email subscribers for each individual week with first draw taking place on Wednesday 26th November 2008, and the final draw on Wednesday 24th December 2008.
6. This competition is open to residents of the UK, over the age of 18 only, excluding employees and immediate relatives of employees of Republic (Retail) Limited or of their respective parents, subsidiaries or affiliated companies or any other person professionally connected with this competition.
7. One (1) entry per person, which is submitted through subscription to the mailing list.
8. Republic, in its absolute discretion, will select the winning entries at random from all entries received.
9. Each week one winner will receive £100 to spend in store or online at Republic (Retail) Ltd.
10. For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not consist of anything other than expressly set out in paragraph 9 above and no additional costs are included. No cash alternative is available.
11. The winners will be notified by email. The £100 prize will either be allocated to your online shopping account at www.republic.co.uk or sent as a £100 gift card to use in store.
12. In the event that the promoter cannot for any reason contact any prize winner within 7 days, the promoter reserves the right to draw another winner in direct replacement and will not be required to carry the entire draw again.
13. The promoter’s decision is final with respect to any aspect of the competition, including the determination of the winners of a prize. No correspondence will be entered into.
14. The promoter reserves the right to select an alternative prize winner in the event that the promoter has reasonable grounds for believing that a selected winner has contravened any of these Terms and Conditions.
15. The promoter can accept no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged or undelivered. Incomplete and/or illegible entries will be disqualified. The promoter shall not be responsible for technical errors in telecommunications networks, Internet access or otherwise preventing entry to any competition.
16. The prizes are as stated and are non-transferable. If due to circumstances beyond the promoter’s control the promoter is unable to provide the stated prize, the promoter reserves the right to award a substitute prize of equal value. All prizes are subject to the additional terms and conditions of the manufacturer or supplier.
